JOB SUMMARY:

Our Greeting House team members are engaging, observant, and discerning. You will have the opportunity and responsibility to greet and interact with all Members, guests, and staffers that enter into our gated Whitetail Club Community. This is a key role in maintaining the safety of the community by ensuring all who enter have the appropriate identification and/or permissions to enter. Your interactions with the Whitetail Members, their families, guests, vendors and staff will have an impact on their experience, and you can make it a great one by providing area maps, directions, and a smile as they head off to their destination!


ABOUT YOU:

You create a fantastic first impression for our members and visitors. You always present a big smile, crisp uniform, are consistently engaging, clean and professional and as such keep your area clean and sharp. You set the tone for the rest of the Whitetail Club experience. 


WHAT YOU GET TO DO: 

  • Greet all Members, guests, vendors and staff in a friendly and courteous manner. 
  • Acknowledge guests leaving through the greeting house gates with a friendly wave and a thank you when appropriate. 
  • You are the gate keeper. When the public is trying to gain entry, please confirm and assist with their access, or deny and help direct them to the correct resource. Be aware of special events, tournaments, daily t-sheets listing golf guests, this      includes Shore Lodge and Whitetail golf guests, members' friends, and vendors.
  • Assist members and guests with requests. Answer questions while providing friendly and accurate information.
  • Help control access of various vendors and others directing to correct gates based on vehicle size. 
  • Report and relay any safety concerns, driving, property damage to facilities, or Greeting House/gate structural damage reported or observed by you to the Safety & Security Manager, and /or Agent on shift, as soon as possible.
  • Provide service and direction to Emergency personnel as needed when entering the community.


Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Education
  • General experience and abilities in all Microsoft applications and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high degree of detail
  • Superior customer service skills coupled with the ability to be self-motivated and disciplined 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and coworkers
  • Oral and Written comprehension and expression of the English Language (being able to speak, read and write)
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, clean record and be insurable in order to drive company vehicles
