The Digital Die Cutter will be part of a collaborative Finishing team that ensures only the best products are made, and that we are producing labels which show our level of pride and care. Every day we bring our customers' labels and packaging to life, creating a customer experience that is second to none, and enabling them to stand out over the competition. Shift Available: 3:55pm-2:00am, Monday thru Thursday - GENEROUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

Compensation is based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities for Digital Die Cutter include:

  • Performing critical manual and machine operator tasks as related to finishing operations using AB Graphic and Graphtronic equipment
  • Proper set-up, operation, quality, and changeover of the die cutter operations
  • Inspecting labels to ensure they are free of errors and/or defects
  • Participating in continuous improvement teams , including Kaizen events and daily improvement projects. focusing on Lean methodologies 
  • Participating in cross-training with an open and positive attitude
  • Performing required preventive maintenance on assigned Finishing equipment
  • Preparing and maintaining appropriate documentation for assigned finishing tasks; entering accurate production information including finished product count and start/stop times in the data collection system

 The ideal candidate must demonstrate:

  • Ability to make fact-based decisions and troubleshoot print and press problems to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies (hardware and software)
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long- and short-term projects
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities
  • Ability to provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquires of internal customers

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Required: High School degree or equivalent
  • Preferred: Two or more years in central impression flexographic printing
  • Required: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand and bend throughout the shift
  • Required: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
