The Joint Defense Support Group, within SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division, supports the Surface Community and components of the United States Navy by providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas. We provide timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical, and acquisition support to the Maritime communities, and related agencies, allies, and partners. We are trusted agents of the senior and operational leadership in the Fleet, OPNAV, NAVSEA, and the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Navies. We play key roles in providing insights and strategies to address current and emerging challenges to national security and have tremendous impact on our client's success in solving their most important issues. SPA has a near-term need for an ASW Analyst.#FC Responsibilities Designs test and data collection plans for exercises Lead observer aboard exercise units to coordinate observation and data collection efforts to support exercise reconstruction Develop exercise messages, Reconstructs exercise events Analyzes exercise results IAW the Analysis Plan Primary author of analytical reports, such as Reconstruction and Analysis, Cross or Focused Study and Annual Reports Salary Range: 122-126k Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum of fifteen years of Navy experience relating to ship/submarine/aircraft operations and warfare tasks Six years of experience in managing projects or programs Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
