The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office. # SPA's IWS Group office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard. #FC Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a math, economics, business or finance-related field Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (ex: Python, C++, Java, MATLAB, or Visual Basic) Eligible for a DoD Secret security clearance Desired Qualifications: Active DoD Secret security clearance 1+ years of DoD Acquisition PMO or annual program budgeting experience Microsoft Office Specialist certification and/or experience with PowerBI, Power Pivot and Power Query Responsibilities SPA is seeking a dedicated junior Business & Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Navy's Programs. Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (ex: Python, C++, Java, MATLAB, or Visual Basic) is a must. This position will provide direct support to the Navy customer Program Control team for all Program Control and Budget Management tasks. For this critical work, we are looking for a proactive analyst to support Navy customer Program Control & Acquisition; develop and update programmatic briefings; support the development and updates to budget documentation (such as 7300s, Spend Plans, and Task Planning Sheets); develop, distribute, compile, review, and track annual/monthly planning and budget documentation; and utilize and develop tools to add efficiency, provide insight, and enhance manageability to Program Control processes. The person who excels in this role will ultimately be responsible for maintaining a standard of excellence and delivering products with the utmost attention to detail and organization. Your contribution will provide guidance across a wide range of Program Control tasks and assist with the development, improvement, and streamlining of Excel-based business and financial analysis tools. Washington, DC Pay Transparency: $70,000 - $90,000.
