Basic Qualifications

  • Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Master's degree or higher in English, Journalism, and/or Communications
  • 12+ years of experience related to professional writing, editing, or technical writing
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
  • Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in supporting Federal Government acquisitions and/or contracts

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. California Pay Transparency Range: 120k - 180k.



Responsibilities

The duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Write and develop speeches, documents, and articles for the U.S. Space Force.
  • Assess, develop, evaluate, consolidate, track status of, and report metrics for responses that answer technical and programmatic inquiries, working closely with the appropriate Delta/Division representatives.
  • Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the Directorate, organization, missions, operations, and initiatives.
  • Review, coordinate, and process program information suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, international partners, and other program stakeholders.
