The Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters. Our portfolio includes the Assistant Secretary of Air Force for Space Acquisition & Integration (SAF/SQ), Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), US Space Command (USSPACECOM) and US Space Force (USSF). Come be a part of a high-speed low-drag organization providing unique and tailored solutions for our National Defense! SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Executive Assistant. Responsibilities The successful candidate will provide direct support to the Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Cyber and Data (SF/S6) and other HQ Space Force offices as needed. Will work closely with the S6 Front Office to ensure timely, proactive, and comprehensive administrative support to leadership. Will be expected to handle sensitive information while exercising professionalism and discretion. The dynamic nature of this role requires that the successful candidate be a self-starter, taking the initiative whenever possible and thinking ahead of what the mission needs are -- all while displaying elite multi-project tracking and execution ability along with exemplary time management skills. Will apply professional demeanor across internal and external stakeholders, apply an energetic approach and eagerness to tackle new projects and ideas, and proactively identify and solve problems. You will routinely interact with executives and display sound judgment and tact. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the coordination of staff efforts both within and outside the office. Duties include but are not limited to: Manage schedules, maintain calendars, set appointments, and keep managers informed of constantly changing situations. Route and track internal and external written communication. Develop and refine processes, systems, and templates to manage workflow supporting all leadership and staff. Oversee tasking using the Task Management Tool to receive, document, generate, distribute, track, and close tasks at the program leadership level while ensuring that responses are technically and programmatically accurate with sufficient detail to complete the tasks. Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate responses for answering inquiries by working closely with the appropriate personnel, partners, and stakeholders. Analyze, interpret, track, monitor, and disseminate all tasks (e.g., performance reports, employee feedbacks, promotion recommendation forms, awards and decorations, quarterly/annual awards, special trophies, training, and program director tasks), including monitoring personal email, organizational email, and Task Management Tool for tasks. Support S6 USSF Integration and L2 Sync Meetings sending meeting reminders and updating briefing slides. Schedule and coordinate both virtual and in-person conference rooms. Manage files and records, databases, and business unit calendars. Maintain, update, and edit a variety of routine documents and reports. Other administrative duties, as required. Qualifications Required Qualifications: US Citizenship and an active Secret clearance Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 5-10 years' experience providing programmatic and administrative support to facing organizations and customers Ability to communicate with senior personnel, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook HQ USAF/USSF/SAF experience, familiarity with TMT/ETMS2 and/or or other HQ staffing tools Reports to designated work location in Arlington, VA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer Desired Qualifications: Active Top Secret clearance Familiarity with Cyberspace Operations, Cybersecurity, Communications, or Information Technology
