The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring immediately for a Lead Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in the New London, CT area. Connecticut pay Transparency Salary range: $150,000 – $250,000 Responsibilities The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will lead a team of ISSOs supporting Cyber Security (CS) and System Security Engineering (SSE) efforts underneath the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). The key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following: Coordinate and manage the delivery, review, and submission of authorization documentation in support of authorization activities for the associated acquisition programs. Assist the ISSM with SSE and CS program management functions. Manage the day-to-day operations of the ISSO Team, to include work assignments, task prioritization and track work accomplishment. Attend and coordinate meetings and attendance of the SSE Team to ensure prover meeting coverage. Coordinate with industry partners to ensure authorization efforts are on schedule and completed in accordance with the systems program plan and applicable policy and procedures. Work with industry partners to identify and mitigate CS and SSE Risk associated with system development. Quality Assurance check and review documentation to ensure authorization packages meet the high-quality standards of the program. Provide ISSM updates to authorization efforts and status of authorization efforts. Inform the ISSM of Issues, concerns and Risk associated with the system authorization process. Coordinate risk reduction activities with the ISSM. Qualifications Required Qualifications: U.S. citizen with Top-Secret Clearance. Bachelor's degree. Must be able to work at New London, CT location and travel to prime contractors and government locations as necessary. Prior work with weapon systems, Submarine information systems and networks. Understanding of Department of Defense, Department of the Navy and NIST Cyber Security policy, procedures, and requirements. 10 years experience with NIST Risk Management Framework, Cyber Network Defense, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), DISA Security Technical implications Guides, and automation applications. Must satisfy DON Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) Requirements at time of application. Desired Qualifications: Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). Strong leadership and program management background.

Must be able to work at New London, CT location and travel to prime contractors and government locations as necessary. Prior work with weapon systems, Submarine information systems and networks. Understanding of Department of Defense, Department of the Navy and NIST Cyber Security policy, procedures, and requirements. 10 years experience with NIST Risk Management Framework, Cyber Network Defense, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), DISA Security Technical implications Guides, and automation applications. Must satisfy DON Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) Requirements at time of application. Desired Qualifications: Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). Strong leadership and program management background.
