Responsibilities
We are seeking a Systems Engineer (SE) to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Integrated Combat Systems Department (V).
You will work directly on tasks related to the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Weapon Control System (WCS) and Large Missile Vertical Launch System (LMVLS) software integration with the Total Ship Computing Environment (TSCE) element on Zumwalt class destroyers. You will provide representation for NSWCDD DDG-1000 SE team in support of PEO IWS 9, including coordination with other CPS and LMVLS stakeholders, in all relevant technical and programmatic discussions and events, identifying and communicating changes in requirements, programmatic events (technical reviews, test events, etc.), and CPS and LMVLS capabilities/limitations deltas that will impact the integration mission for the DDG-1000 program.
You must have the ability to provide detailed and thorough engineering analysis and briefings and have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren area 4-5 days per week. Minimal travel is expected (<5%).
