Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in a STEM field with 3 years of Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) experience, or M.S. in a STEM field with 2 years of MS&A experience.
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
  • Proactive person with a positive attitude and a “team player” mentality.
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
  • Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills; Proactively provide ideas/thought.

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience with DoD weapons systems.
  • Specific ICBM weapon system experience a plus.
  • Experience in Verification and Validation of software tools a plus.


Responsibilities

SPA is seeking an exceptional systems engineer with experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system. This systems engineer will assist the United States Air Force manage its internal MS&A efforts for Sentinel program, analyzing the Prime contractor's MS&A data modules, and preparing reports for model validation. The candidate will interface with the Prime Contractor to ensure it meets the U.S. Government's intent with respect to MS&A products and artifacts. The candidate will also consult to the USAF system program office concerning MS&A topics. This unique position will allow the candidate to view all MS&A efforts for the Sentinel weapon system and will provide great growth potential.

In this position, you will provide direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout engineering development, deployment, and sustainment. You will help support several hundred personnel providing the government with ICBM expertise. You will become a trusted mission partner to the innovative, digital engineering-driven Air Force organization that is responsible to design, build, test, transition, and sustain the world's safest, most secure, and effective land-based nuclear deterrent, on-schedule.
