Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a 133-bed facility that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, women's services, orthopedic, cardiac care and behavioral health services. Our surgical services include robotic-assisted technology, allowing our surgeons to operate with the tiniest incisions and with greater vision, precision and control.

What will you do?
- Ensure that appropriate portion of Outpatient and Inpatient nursing assessment of patient is completed, standard of care initiated and all necessary consent forms are signed.
- Initiates/documents preoperative and discharge planning and patient teaching involving patient/significant other.
- Assures all lab work, EKG, and x-rays are obtained, and initiates the PAT Protocol and initiates completion of chart.
- Shows the ability to be flexible by working in other areas of Surgical Services as needed such as PACU and taking call with a PACU staff nurse as needed.
Required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred B.S.N. degree or currently enrolled in B.S.N. program.
Required Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Virginia.
Required AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS for Healthcare Providers.
Required Current Virginia License
Preferred One year experience in area of clinical expertise to which applying.
