Overall Role to Springfield ReManufacturing Corp. 

Reporting directly to the CFO, this position is responsible for providing technical assistance to computer systems users.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a technical resource in support services for system related problems
  • Communicate with management changes to existing hardware and software or proposals for new requirements, modifications and equipment
  • Train computer users and develop training materials and procedures for the proper use of hardware and software
  • Investigate and diagnose minor problems to programs by following proper instruction and system specifications
  • Monitor the daily performance of computer systems and programs
  • Set up equipment for computer system users in a production environment and insuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. 
  • Consult technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Follow all safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
  • Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve organization's goals.
  • Participates in and supports the principles of Open Book Management and recognizes the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.


Key Qualifications

  • Associate's level degree in related area and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong PC hardware troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Solid networking knowledge
  • Microsoft Windows 10/11 troubleshooting experience
  • Microsoft Office 365 deployment and setup
  • Basic understanding of VPN connectivity and client setup
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with email security
  • Must have good project management skills and possess the demonstrated ability to lead a project from inception to completion.
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize, ability to delegate and organize assignments and fully capable of multi-tasking.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
