POSITION SUMMARY:
The Stock Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing parts and materials needed for equipment reconditioning. This role is critical in ensuring technicians have accurate, timely access to the components required for production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and efficient stockroom environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Store parts and materials in designated locations and maintain proper labeling
- Issue and distribute parts to technicians as requested
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts
- Track stock levels, report shortages, and assist with reorder requests
- Ensure stockroom is organized, safe, and compliant with company standards
- Assist with kitting, staging, and material handling for production needs
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed
- Support continuous improvement efforts in inventory control and material flow
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse, stockroom, or inventory control (manufacturing or equipment industry preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand part numbers, labels, and work orders
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all QMS (Quality Management System) guidelines and regulations are followed
- All employees are required to follow and promote all company and regulatory safety and environmental standards and exhibit safe work practices at all times
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Safety Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses, etc. required at all times in warehouse environment
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and continuous quality improvement objectives
- Actively participate in and support the principles of Open-Book Management
- Possess a positive attitude and promote a positive work environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The performance of this position requires exposure to atmospheric conditions such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. Working conditions are those of a warehouse environment. This job requires the use and safe operation of powered fork trucks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, talk and hear. Standing 50%; walking /sitting 50%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. Lifting equipment is available for tasks requiring movement of materials weighing more than 50 pounds.
