POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the organization's buildings, equipment, and grounds. This hands-on role ensures that the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations and company standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues as they arise.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and emergency repair requests promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and tools.
• Monitor building systems and energy usage to identify inefficiencies.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling office equipment, furniture, and workspace modifications.
• Support janitorial and landscaping vendors and oversee contracted services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety and building codes.
• Assist in snow removal, parking lot maintenance, or other seasonal facility needs.
• Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.
• Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
• Work attendance must be exemplary.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working with electrical and maintenance components.
• College experience or technical school experience
• Mathematical Skills
• Reasoning Ability
• MIG welding experience.
• Experience operating manual mills and lathes to machine custom parts.
• HVAC experience.
• Single and 3 phase electrical installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Computer literacy/experience.  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
