SS&C is the largest global investor service provider, servicing more than 55 million investors. Continually investing in global technology and services across the spectrum of distribution channels including: Asset Managers, Financial Advisors, Wealth Managers and large financial institutions such as Banks and Insurers. Investor servicing is offered in many different countries, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Luxembourg, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. SS&C also services mutual fund structures in many other fund domiciles.

Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) is the business unit offering this role. GIDS delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, using digital services.

About the Role

The RPA team are rapidly expanding to support the increase of digital workers across their business. This exciting opportunity will align to the ramp up of analysis and development across Operations and co-ordinate and be accountable for the deployment of high quality automations using digital workers. The role will oversee the quality assurance function and work closely with the Analyst and Development staff in addition to managing the overarching deliverables across the RPA team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an evolving Operational team with key deliverables in a fast paced environment.


Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee testing and drive delivery of the RPA programme of work
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate, particularly the Test and Support team working closely with the Leads in the Analysis, and Build teams to ensure delivery targets are met
  • Lead the QA workstream, developing and maintaining a strong framework for testing of automations, extending to process improvements/fixes as well as new processes
  • Lead the delivery teams in daily scrum calls where required
  • Provide regular support to first line support team on issue investigation and management
  • Provide daily updates on issues, dependencies and key results
  • Track and report on progress to Senior Stakeholders
  • Carry out all QA tasks, working closely with the process owner and SMEs to complete User Acceptance Testing
  • Oversee the deployment of completed automations into production

Your Experience

  • Experience in Testing from an Operational capacity within Financial Services (ideally Fund Services or Transfer Agency, or from anywhere else within the Financial Services arena)
  • Experience in Agile methodology and Change Management lifecycle
  • Experience and knowledge of RPA development lifecycle would be an advantage
  • Experience in process optimization
  • Experience in Microsoft Project or similar project management and reporting tools
  • RPA, Project Management, Agile or Scrum certification(s) would be a bonus
