What You Will Get To Do:

Geneva Support Representative / Specialist

Brief Description:

Candidates will be focused on providing great service to optimize the way that Clients use their software solutions. Ideal candidates should have excellent English communication skills and willing to grow as a proactive problem solver who provides that highest level of Client solutions through a strong-based skills set gained with an extensive working accounting/technical knowledge and customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high level and in-depth technical support by resolving inquiries by phone, e-mail and web, in a manner and time frame consistent with department and team service levels and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with Clients, team members, implementation consultants, and resources across Advent global office locations to achieve desired results.
  • Own and address Client needs and product issues from inception to resolution.
  • Interpret and validate technical issues, test solutions, follow-up and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain and create detailed documentation through logging of support cases, e-mail and knowledge base articles for Client and internal use.

What You Will Bring:

Accounting (World Investor) Candidate

  • Strong background on accounting or have previously worked for any finance related accounts (JP Morgan, CITCO, Bank of America, Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg) is preferred
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS or PRC GAAP is required
  • Experience working with Portfolio Management, Fund Accounting, Prime Broker or other global back-office financial accounting solution is preferred
  • Knowledge of fundamental financial instruments (equities and fixed incomes) is required
  • Knowledge of derivatives (i.e. Futures, Options, SWAPS, Bank Debt, OTC and Exchange Traded) is a plus
  • Sensitive to numbers and familiar with the use of Excel formula or macro is preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge about business finance. Prior work experience related to hedge funds, mutual funds is a plus.
  • CFA,CPA,FRM Certified is a plus

Architecture Candidate

  • Solid working knowledge of a Windows Server environment is required
  • Knowledge with MS SQL Server maintenance, MS SQL language and store procedure is required
  • Knowledge of programming, scripting and automation experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud, Unix or Linux environment is preferred
  • Working knowledge of networks, system architecture, database (Oracle, MySQL, MangoDB), preferably as a System Admin or Database Admin, is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Reporting Service is a plus
  • Prior experience in a client service role is a plus.
  • PMP Certified is a plus

Other Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills with a strong attention to detail are required.
  • English and Mandarin proficiency is required.
  • Proven aptitude to learn knowledge and information in a timely manner is required.
  • Solid troubleshooting and analysis / resolution skills are required.
  • Can attend to Client's need/inquiries via phone, remote session or Email.
  • Ability to understand and convey client business requirements to escalation with development teams is required.
  • Works really well under pressure. Can be resourceful, even with limited tools & resources.
  • Okay to work during graveyard hours, during holidays. Okay to do schedule swap (US to APAC, US to EMEA) if needed.
