Job Description

Implementation Solutions Consultant

Locations: Jacksonville, FL

Get To Know The Team: 

The Technical Solutions Consultanthelps to ensure the successful implementation of Black Diamond Link clients. In this role, the consultant is one of the first voices to new firms, responsible for advising on workflows, product set-up and installing all data extracts used to populate Black Diamond.  This position will may also provide ad hoc technical assistance to the Advisory Relationship Management team aiding in their efforts to retain clients by providing industry, workflow, and technical assistance on APX, AXYS, and MOXY/Genesis products.

What You Will Get To Do: 

Black Diamond Link APX/ AXYS Integration Services

  • Manage installations of BD Link automation for assigned APX and AXYS firms
    • Consult on BD Link/AXYS/APX workflows and best practices
    • Work with each client's IT staff to install data extracts and implement automated tasks
    • Evaluate workflows and consult with clients on timing for automated extract runs
    • Serve as primary point of contact for all questions pertaining to data delivery
  • Retrieve files for processing when failures occur and troubleshoot automation issues
  • Attend weekly implementation calls as needed to review data transactions between APX/ AXYS and Black Diamond
  • Collaborate with the BD Link Operations Team to extract, load and reconcile historical transaction and performance data
  • Serve as liaison for training items related to APX/ AXYS, Black Diamond and the data integration process

Additional Analysis & Technical Consulting

  • Work with Advent's clients to understand how their business utilize Axys/APX and other products
  • Recommend/design workflows to streamline complex client business processes (i.e., reporting processes, daily reconciliation, data imports, etc…)
  • Develop automated processes to reduce manual daily functions/intervention
  • Support data processing and automation issues
  • Make internal and external product/solution recommendations for requests that fall outside the scope of the Black Diamond Link organization
  • Coordinate some custom report development

What You Will Bring: 

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services industry and/or Advent client base
  • Prior experience with custodial back office processes
  • (Preferred) Advent product experience: Black Diamond, Axys, APX and/or Moxy
  • Preferred technical skills include, but are not exclusive to:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL/SSRS
    • Knowledge of Advent products and/or scriptin
    • Batch File and PowerShell Scripting
  • Proven project management skills (including handling multiple priorities and being flexible)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail with an aptitude for numbers/accounting
  • Strong customer service skills, with previous technical support experience
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with team members and other internal groups
