What You Will Get To Do:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our Real Assets and Private Equity team. This role involves supporting client relationships, preparing and reviewing financial statements, investor allocations, capital calls and distributions, and distribution waterfall models, as well as assisting with audits and tax compliance. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge for alternative investment funds, experience in client service, and the ability to guide junior staff in a collaborative team environment.

  • Contribute to a team managing one or more client relationships.
  • Deliver accurate and timely work in coordination with other team members.
  • Demonstrate strong accounting knowledge, particularly for alternative investment funds, with a focus on Real Assets or Private Equity.
  • Review transaction documentation and supporting files, understanding investment transaction features, accruals, and related processes.
  • Review work paper files for accuracy and completeness, including capital activity, investment activity, income and expense accruals, and valuation adjustments.
  • Prepare and review management fee calculations and update distribution waterfall (carried interest) models in accordance with fund terms.
  • Review investor allocations and capital account statements.
  • Review capital call and distribution calculations, sources/uses of cash, allocations, and investor notices.
  • Review financial statements, note disclosures, and supporting schedules.
  • Manage the year-end audit process in collaboration with clients and auditors.
  • Handle routine client information requests.
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior staff on all technical and client-service-related matters.
  • Support the tax team, where applicable, by providing information for tax compliance and reporting.
  • Contribute to corporate goals and business or departmental initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

  • 7–9 years of relevant experience, preferably in fund administration or audit.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Real Assets or Private Equity.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing or leading a team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance existing service models and workflows.
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore FRS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; experience with Investran is a plus.
  • Collaborative team player.
