Manager, Solutions Marketing

The Solutions Marketing Manager will join SS&C Advent's Marketing team in a go-to-market function to drive the evolution of the business' demand generation and outbound marketing capabilities to drive measurable engagement and productivity within the Alternative investment sector. The ideal candidate is an experienced, outcomes-driven strategic marketer familiar with constructing integrated campaigns and possessing a goal-oriented ability to execute.

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Define, optimize, and integrate email, web, social, and advertising campaign touchpoints to maximize engagement, increase lead capture, and drive overall productivity
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to review content for accuracy and regulatory compliance; partner with relevant stakeholders to identify creative, high-impact marketing solutions that captivate and engage target audiences
  • Partner and proactively communicate with marketing colleagues (e.g., creative, events, marketing operations and digital), as well as business stakeholders and cross-functional partners, to define tactics for generating awareness and high-quality leads for the Sales team and to manage tasks, socialize work progress, and manage dependencies
  • Assist in ensuring data integrity and quality in Marketo,, website/landing pages, and other marketing platforms
  • Identify and champion new Alternative sector opportunities and messages to advance target audience engagement
  • Partner with marketing operations team to critically review data and insights on marketing reporting and touchpoints (email opens, click-through rates, website engagement, web lead form completion, etc.) and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with Sales and other cross-functional commercial teams to foster partnership, gain alignment on new opportunities, and build awareness and adoption of marketing campaigns and digital content
  • Partner with Strategic Partnership and Sales Development to build integrated, outcomes-driven marketing plans that build awareness, preference, and engagement among newly accessible financial professionals resulting from firm launches, mergers, and product suite expansion

What You Will Bring: 

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related role
  • Asset Management (institutional and wealth) and Alternatives investment knowledge
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marketing activities and curiosity to extend knowledge and learning
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent partnership skills with ability to navigate the organization and build relationships
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Proficiency with data and Excel-driven analysis
  • Ability to think strategically but with a "roll up the sleeves" attitude and a readiness to execute
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent project management skills
