We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Director to develop and execute our social media strategy across various platforms. As the Social Media Director, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our social media campaigns to enhance brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives. What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage and oversee all social media accounts and platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Create and curate engaging and high-quality content for social media channels, including posts, videos, graphics, and other multimedia assets.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and generate leads.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics and trends to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into the company's social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Growth Marketing, PR & communications, to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all social media channels.
  • Monitor social media conversations and respond to inquiries, comments, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Escalate when necessary.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on social media performance, campaign effectiveness, and audience behavior to key stakeholders.
  • Manage campaigns with a data-driven approach and compile insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage the employee advocacy program on Hootsuite Amplify, ensuring content and users are current.
  • Drive end-to-end annual and quarterly planning for organic social media.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with growth marketing, creative services, and public relations to refine messaging across the social media landscape.
  • Liaise with Public Relations team on elevating our Business Unit leaders as thought leaders on social media
  • Creating a Social Media Center of Excellence across the enterprise. Global Marketing manages content and strategy for SS&C Technologies' social media properties.
  • Collaborate with social media agencies on the evolution of social media strategy.
  • Photography, video capture, and editing experience are preferred. Responsible for attending and capturing footage from top-tier events may be required.

A Day in the Life:

  • This role involves hands-on creation, management, and optimization of organic social media campaigns to drive high-quality leads and pipeline.
  • You will create and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals, with clear success metrics.
  • You will stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications (Current technologies include- Hubspot, Hootsuite Amplify, Oktopost, and Airtable)
  • Work with the team to generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily on various channels.
  • Create an engagement plan to communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews. Responsible for escalating anything controversial or that needs to be actioned.
  • Educate employees on best practices for their own profiles to maximize brand awareness and social selling.

What You Will Bring: 

  • 7+ years' experience in B2B marketing and/or Corporate Social Media
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of paid marketing tactics- Google and LinkedIn Ads
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with marketing automation software (Hubspot or Marketo) as well as social media scheduling tools
  • Ability to analyze data, overcome data noise, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored for different social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies that drive engagement and achieve business goals.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. This role has two direct reports.

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 100,000 USD to 160,000 USD.
