Job Description

Title: Transformation Program Manager - Transfer Agency

Location: Boston, MA; Braintree, MA; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Dublin, OH; Kansas City, MO

Get To Know the Team: 

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Transformation Program Manager with a strong track record in financial services, operational process improvement and transformation initiatives.  Experience in Transfer Agency operations is preferred, but candidates from broader financial services backgrounds will also be considered.

This highly visible role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze and present complex process information, identifying strategic opportunities and driving consensus on strategic solutions. The Program Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to define scope and strategy, lead governance efforts, and apply expert project management skills to drive operational change.

Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, documenting current and future state processes, managing project plans, developing business requirements, training materials, organizational and operating model changes, and overseeing implementation while ensuring compliance with corporate policies. The Program Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of assigned initiatives.

This role may require 25% to 50% domestic travel within the US.

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Lead and manage multiple,complex initiatives simultaneously, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
  • Support development of program artifacts such as project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, RAID logs, RACI matrices, governance models, process flows, business requirements, and status reports.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to prepare documentation and communications to drive change.
  • Prepare business requirements, implementation plans, procedures, training materials, test plans, and oversee testing efforts.
  • Engage with key business stakeholders within Transfer Agency and peripheral teams such as Compliance, Continuity, Client Management, Human Resources, and IT.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, and changes, escalating when appropriate but also ensuring obstacles are addressed.
  • Maintain and communicate/present comprehensive project documentation including progress reports and status updates.
  • Monitor project progress, track performance, and adjust plans to meet program deliverables.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with Project Managers to prepare project status reports, lead status meetings, and evaluate project performance post-completion, providing actionable recommendations for future initiatives.

What You Will Bring: 

  • 3–5 years of project management experience
  • 3–5 years of experience within transfer agency or investor services
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to lead multiple initiatives and manage complex projects
  • Experience preparing business requirements, training materials, and implementation plans
  • Skilled in risk and issue management and escalation
  • Proficient in project documentation and reporting
  • Willingness to travel domestically 25% to 50%

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. Colorado: Salary range for the position: $55,000 USD to $120,000 USD.
