The Division of Endocrinology, Gerontology, and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine invites applicants for a full-time position as a Clinician Educator at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor level depending on qualifications. This position is in a non-tenure line. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Clinician Educator Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Proficiency in all aspects of endocrinology is important, but a particular focus on endocrine neoplasms is essential. The applicant is expected to work in collaboration with others in the Division and in the Stanford Cancer Center to focus on providing programmatic leadership and clinical management of thyroid cancer, adrenal tumors, neuroendocrine tumors and others, and to participate in teaching clinical endocrinology.
