Overview

The Projects Coordinator works in the Court Administrator's Office providing specialized services for one of its divisions.

Description

The position may be assigned to a single or multiple simultaneous projects such as the ongoing Commission on Mental Health and the Courts. Assigned projects may change at any time but will typically involve several of the following duties:  organization and completion of projects; data collection and analysis; assisting in report generation; customer support; clerical assistance to committees; providing direct services or ancillary services to courts; assisting in grant management; research and mastery of computer system. Advanced clerical and procedural work with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgement and evaluative thinking with occasional role as team lead in supervisor's absence

This is a full-time, limited service opening and the position can be based in Montpelier or another Vermont Judiciary work location. The successful candidate may request to work remotely but must be in proximity to a Vermont Judiciary work location.

Compensation

Starting salary is $25.43 per hour.  This position will be eligible for longevity increases in accordance with the State step pay plan and annual cost of living increases as enacted by the Vermont State Legislature.

Minimum Requirements

Education:    Bachelor's Degree

Experience:  Two years or more years directly relevant administrative or project oriented experience. 
Advanced education may be substituted for experience on a 6-months for semester basis. 
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent college credits and 3 years directly relevant complex administrative or project oriented experience.
