Summary
The Investment Strategy Analyst is a contributor to the development and implementation of the Stifel CIO Office offering within Stifel's Investment Products & Services (IP&S). In this capacity, the Investment Strategy Analyst may work at the direction of other members of the CIO Office, and may interact with both Financial Advisors and their clients. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

*This role has the ability to be based out of Stifel's NY Office

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Primary research on investment and macroeconomic themes, drawing upon numerous sources of related data and third party research.
• Development of official capital market assumptions (CMAs) for the firm's strategic asset allocation analysis and resulting SAA model portfolios.
• Assessing the work of other market experts to establish Investment themes; present these themes in written materials, multimedia presentations, and live/recorded calls for Financial Advisors.
• Management of multi-asset class models/portfolios reflective of the developed investment and macroeconomic themes.
• Equity security analysis for positions considered in Stifel Choice portfolios.
• Working with the IP&S product groups to commercialize investment themes and portfolio positioning, including structured investments and alternative investments.
• Develop key publications and presentations on a daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc basis for Financial Advisors and clients.
• Engaging advisors and clients in delivering customized investment solutions.
• In collaboration with other members of the CIO Office, join financial advisor meetings, client meetings, and represent the CIO Office in public forums, which may infrequently requiring travel by car and/or air to local, regional and/or national destinations.

Qualifications
• Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of the financial markets
• Strong critical thinking abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of securities commensurate with related undergraduate studies.
• Some experience working with financial data and related analytical tools a plus.

Education and Experience
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum Required: 0-3 years' of related experience

Licenses and Credentials
• Minimum Required: Series 7 and 63, or the ability to obtain within 12 months from date of hire

Systems and Technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Basic knowledge of financial data/analytical systems and tools, which may include Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, and Microsoft Excel macros (VB).
