State University of New York – Upstate Medical University, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, is recruiting for a full-time, BC/BE, Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join the MFM Division.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent clinician with a strong academic mission to support the high volume of inpatient and outpatient obstetrical services. Located in Syracuse, NY our physicians attend to the Regional Perinatal Program and provide specialized care and education to patients with complicated pregnancies throughout the Central New York Region.

Clinical and Academic Opportunities:

• Outreach activities for 20+ Central New York counties.
• Maternity Hospital with a robust patient safety initiative and Level IV NICU
• Maternal transport service from 19 hospitals in the region.
• Outpatient consultation supported by 2 full-time genetic counselors, 2 CNMs, 2 NPs, and AIUM Certified ultrasound techs.
• Active participation in didactic and clinical education of 3 fellows, 20 residents, and 165 medical students annually.

Academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level and salary are commensurate with qualifications and are competitive both nationally and regionally. Requirements:

• Must be eligible for a New York State medical license.
• Candidates must be BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
