Chief of Primary Care – Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG)
Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time, Chief of Primary Care to join our multi-specialty, physician-driven, and patient centric medical group.
Location: San Francisco, California
Position details:
- Opportunity to practice full-spectrum Family or Internal Medicine including procedures.
- Provide leadership and oversight for Sutter West Bay Medical Group's vision for Primary Care disciplines inclusive of clinical services, performance management, quality, patient safety, medical and clinical education, practice growth, and development.
- Partner with the Chief Medical Officer, co-leads, employed providers and practice staff with integrated unification of standards for professionalism, accountability, and care delivery across the foundation to deliver superior integrated primary care.
- Promote innovations in care-delivery models to improve operating efficiency and patient experience expressed through key metrics.
Qualification(s):
Required:
- Education: BE/BC in an accredited Family or Internal Medicine (M.D. or DO) residency program,
- Certificates/Licenses: Current and unrestricted licensed Medical Doctor in the state of California.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience; at least 3 years of medical leadership and operations experience.
Preferred:
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Demonstrated empathy, warmth, and inclusiveness.
- Has a thorough understanding of the needs and concerns of primary care providers and a solid working knowledge of ambulatory and practice operations.
- Strong blend of management skills and technical expertise, demonstrated by superior planning, decision-making, leadership, and financial management skills/knowledge, with a focus on adding value to the bottom line of the business.
Sutter West Bay Medical Group
Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is a multi-specialty medical group made up of over 160 physicians practicing in the greater San Francisco service area.
SWBMG works in partnership with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF), a non-profit organization providing care through its affiliation with SWBMG. Physicians work as a team to provide patient-focused care that encourages a sense of teamwork. SPMF provides physicians with an administrative infrastructure, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
