Tetra Tech has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant/Project Assistant to support the Portland, OR office Water/Wastewater civil engineering staff. 

Your Role: 

  • This is a part time to full-time position depending upon availability, experience and ability. 
  • Perform daily general office administrative duties such as checking and delivering the mail/Fed Ex/UPS, copying, scanning, filing, file purging, binding reports, maintain office supply inventory, maintain the break room, coordinate with the Building owners for items such as minor repairs and lights, meeting minutes, coordinate office events and after hours emergency contact.
  • Perform as the office safety officer tracking and maintaining safety equipment, developing safety plans on projects, coordinating with the company safety officer.
  • Perform word processing assistance editing, formatting and producing technical reports, and specifications.;
  • Assistance with project set-up, invoicing and file maintenance. 
  • Periodically face tight deadlines on a variety of submittals which may require flexible work schedules.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience using Adobe/Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record and auto insurance required           
  • Previous experience in an engineering office is preferred.
