As a pivotal member of our Advanced Technology Group (ATG), you'll immerse yourself in the world of cutting-edge electrical building systems. Your mission? Under the guidance of a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will meticulously craft electrical engineering drawings using the latest design techniques, ensuring every specification is met.

 

We are seeking an ideal candidate who thrives on continuous learning, constantly hones their design and consulting skills, and embraces leadership and teamwork. Knowledge of Building and Electrical Codes is a plus.

 

As an Electrical Designer at Glumac in Silicon Valley, your role will encompass designing and analyzing electrical power systems for Advanced Technology Projects. This includes diverse projects such as clean rooms, FAB facilities, microelectronics, industrial spaces, R&D/engineering labs, software and hardware labs, and data centers. You'll also be responsible for power and control systems, system layouts, load calculations, and lighting systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging, impactful, fast-paced projects, collaborate with various stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and gain hands-on experience with site investigations and inspections.

 

The ideal candidate should possess 1-5+ years of MEP project design experience as an Electrical Designer, hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, and champions proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD for drafting, as well as familiarity with low voltage design. Preferred qualifications include experience with SKM or Easy Power software, knowledge of medium voltage design, a current Professional Engineering (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT), strong interpersonal skills, client relationship experience, sustainability design expertise, LEED AP BD+C and WELL certifications, and a drive to excel and specialize in Electrical Engineering.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package for employees.
