At Tetra Tech, we are searching for an entry-level Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation team in Toledo, Ohio full-time. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be involved with the design of culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation structures, and will work with our team of recognized industry experts.
Your Role:
- Design bridges, culverts and retaining walls
- Plan production including 3D Modeling and CADD
- Load rating analysis of bridges
- Utilize structural design software
- Prepare structural evaluation studies, structure-type studies, and similar reports
- Computation of estimated quantities, plan notes, and development of cost estimates
- Site visits to support the design process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering (structural focus is a plus)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification with the intent to obtain Professional Engineer Certification, preferred
- 0-2 years of experience is a plus
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D is favorable
- Proficient with Microsoft software, to include Word and Excel
Salary Range: $56,000 - $73,000, depending on experience.
