Your Role:
As a Bridge Engineer, you will be involved with the design of culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation structures, and will work with our team of recognized industry experts.
- Design bridges, culverts and retaining walls
- Plan production including 3D Modeling and CADD
- Load rating analysis of bridges
- Utilize structural design software
- Prepare structural evaluation studies, structure-type studies, and similar reports
- Computation of estimated quantities, plan notes, and development of cost estimates
- Site visits to support the design process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus a plus)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, with intent to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (a plus)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
- Ability to travel periodically (approximately 15% or more)
