Description

You will provide a customer-focused internal support service, assisting fee-earning staff and operational teams across the business. Working as part of a centralised UK-wide support network, you will handle a range of office-based and operational tasks, supporting teams such as Health and Safety, Compliance, Facilities, and Procurement.

 


Your role requires a calm, confident approach to manage complex queries, promote positive change, and ensure smooth office operations. Occasionally, you may be required to travel to other locations to meet workload goals. Key Accountabilities:

 

 

  • Deliver excellent internal customer support, adapting communication to meet diverse needs and escalating complex issues appropriately.
  • Support office operations including facilities maintenance, IT equipment monitoring, and compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., SSHEQ, Marketing, Facilities, Procurement) to assist with audits, compliance, and process improvements.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges, providing practical solutions aligned with central service standards.
  • Take ownership of your workload, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Be flexible to accommodate urgent requests, occasional travel, and out-of-hours support when necessary.
  • Advocate best practices in GDPR, compliance, and office procedures.

 

 

Skills & Experience:

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Highly articulate with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working in a busy professional environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Effective problem solver with sound decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role to provide high-quality service.
  • Able to work well as a team and on your own.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to adapt to new ways of working, including the introduction of new technologies.
