The person selected will become a part of the Sentinel project support team and lead local support as needed for the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center (AFNWC), Sentinel Systems Directorate, at Hill Air Force Base (Hill AFB), UT in addition to other Federal NEPA and EPC projects as assigned. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role :

 •    Serving as a local client liaison with AFNWC, to include attending meetings with key stakeholders, the Air Force, and its contractors as needed to advance the Sentinel Deployment EPC mission.
•    Providing routine, face-to-face, coordination with Air Force POCs and conducting onsite engagement with key personnel at Hill AFB.
•    Setting up a local Tetra Tech office near Hill AFB, serving as the local POC, and answering to the EGS Operations Manager for overhead management of facilities, equipment, and personnel as assigned to the location.
•    Serving as a senior Project Manager and managing projects as assigned.
•    Participating as part of a project management team, advising other project managers and teams as needed.
•    Working collaboratively with other experts in numerous locations across Tetra Tech's broad US geography.
•    Providing technical guidance and expertise to others in support of their functions.
•    Conducting document and data reviews and writing technical documents/reports.
•    Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the Department of Defense (DoD) clients to maximize contract and project opportunities.
•    Staying well-informed of Federal programs and opportunities contracted through existing relationships, developing new relationships, and participation in professional organizations.
•    Meeting with key clients and potential clients to share Tetra Tech's capabilities and foster stronger client relationships.
•    Supporting preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and business development materials.

Qualifications::

Bachelor's degree in engineering-related field with at least 8 years or experience or Master's degree in engineering-related field with at least 4 years of experience required. ABET accredited engineering degree highly desired.

•    Must have at least 8 years of engineering project management; 12 years or more desired.
•    Familiarity with environmental permitting and compliance requirements as they relate to DoD Installations.
•    Project management (i.e., budget, schedule, scope, quality); experience leading DoD design and construction project teams or other project management teams (7 or more personnel) is highly desired.
•    Familiarity with DoD plans and processes.
•    Prior experience conducting document reviews and writing technical documents.
•    Direct experience with DoD regulations and projects; Air Force is desired.
•    Knowledge of federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes.
