Ardaman has the following opportunity available:

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
Ardaman seeks a staff level environmental scientist for its Orlando, Florida office.  The scientist needs to be comfortable in both office and field environments.  Responsibilities will include Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Tank Closure Assessments, Site Contamination Assessments, Source Removals, Remedial System Design Operation and Maintenance, Asbestos Surveys, Pile Installation Monitoring, Chemical Grout Monitoring and supervision of environmental and geotechnical drilling.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required along with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:
•    A Bachelor's Degree in a Science discipline, such as Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Engineering, Physical Science. 
•    Excellent technical writing skills
•    Excellent computer skills and operation of electronic instruments
•    Able to perform mathematical calculations related to concentration, density and gas laws
•    Use GIS and software tools to accurately map test locations and contamination extents
•    Support project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication
•    Knowledge of 62-761 and 62-785 rules and regulations a plus
•    Certified Asbestos Inspector or ability to become certified
•    A team player who understands he plays a vital role in advancing the company and himself along with it
•    40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training would be a plus
•    Must be able to walk up and down slopes and on uneven terrain
•    Must be able to work outdoors in the heat, as needed
•    Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
•    Must be able to work weekends and extended hours, as needed
•    Must be able to travel and work at remote sites as needed
•    Must have an excellent driving record within company standards
•    Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.
•    Local candidates preferred; no paid relocation.
