The Opportunity

Tetra Tech International Development is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Corporate Human Resources team. This is a unique opportunity to work across diverse international development programs, supporting leaders and teams to deliver high-impact outcomes across the Indo-Pacific.

As an HRBP, you will play a critical role in aligning people strategies with business goals. You'll partner with program leaders to provide expert HR guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and performance management to workforce planning and organisational change. You'll also contribute to strategic HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, capability development, and a culture of high performance.

The Opportunity

  • Partner with program leaders to deliver HR solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Provide expert advice and manage recruitment, contracting, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Lead and support organisational change, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Drive employee engagement and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate on strategic HR projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Support the development of inclusive, high-performing teams across diverse contexts.

About You

You are a confident and capable HR professional with a strong background in HR business partnering. You bring a proactive mindset, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for building inclusive and high-performing workplaces in a fast paced and complex environment.

You will possess:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in HR operations within complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and values-driven approach.
  • Experience in creating psychological and cultural safety in teams and workplaces.
