The opportunity

  • Opportunity to showcase your skills and capabilities in defence cooperation, peace, and security

Key responsibilities

  • Support our ‘One Tetra Tech' approach by actively representing Tetra Tech International Development in defence and human security activities.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders in key tender opportunities to support the practice's pursuit strategy and meet client expectations.
  • Bring pre-qualified opportunities to the business through discussions, bid management and client meetings.
  • Play a key role as a lead tracker, “proposal champion,” and strategist for key pre-RFP new business pursuits.
  • Support the development of a defence and security cooperation capability and offering, and participate in the identification, shaping, and presentation to market of Tetra Tech's defence cooperation approach.
  • Connect diverse Tetra Tech capabilities as they relate to relevant defence and security agency policies, strategic priorities, and operating contexts.

Selection criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s).
  • Proven ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team in a complex project management environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in defence and/or human security sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the private/public sector.
  • Experience developing and maintaining positive and effective working relationships, especially with mid-level Government Officials.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing high quality reports.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Indo-Pacific security context, regional human security challenges, and defence cooperation opportunities.
