As a Process Engineer – Project Manager, you'll lead a team that working to strengthen water treatment infrastructure that faces major long-term threats, brought on by climate change, emerging contaminants and evolving ecological needs. Your Role
As a Process Project Manager, you'll take a leadership role in delivering innovative treatment systems for emerging contaminants, including PFAS, and driving success on high-profile infrastructure programs. In this role you will:
Lead a team that provides technical solutions focused on execution of PFAS treatment systems (e.g., GAC, IX, RO) and traditional water/wastewater processes.
Manage large-scale design-build and design-bid-build projects for municipal water treatment, reclamation, and wellhead systems.
Work closely with external clients and stakeholders, support decision-making, and provide oversight of program schedules and budgets.
Deliver comprehensive contract documentation for construction that achieves the client's goals and maximizes benefits to municipalities and utilities.
Provide technical expertise leadership to develop relationships with clients and decision makers and to support marketing and business development, including pursuits, proposals, and project interview activities.
Mentor professionals and grow the team by identifying, recruiting, and developing high-quality talent.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
Registration as a Professional Civil or Mechanical Engineer required (California PE preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months).
10+ years of relevant water/wastewater treatment design experience, including PFAS or advanced treatment systems.
Strong business development skills and proficiency in project management tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (~10%)
CA Salary: $126,000-$180,000 dependent on experience
