Tetra Tech's commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and helping them thrive professionally is stronger than ever. We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Project Coordinator to assist with Renewable Energy projects in the greater Richmond, Virginia Area.

 

The Project Coordinator will be working in a challenging and variable environment that will include detail-oriented independent work and client interactions. The successful candidate will have the aptitude to succeed in helping to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This role is meant to be an entry level position to the Project Management aspect of Engineering projects, specifically large-scale Solar Farms.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Support the Project Manager(s) in the day-to-day management of the project including: 

·         Meeting Scheduling/Agenda/Minutes both internally and with clients.

·         Capture and Tracking of Actions, Decisions & Risks/Issue and help resolve any impediments.

·         Build and Maintain a Project Plan with dependencies.

·         Support the Financial Management processes for more streamlined and informative reports and direction for the PMs.

·         Assist with managing projects and client relationships.

·         Assist with maintenance of project timelines and budgets.

 

Requirements Desired Skills and Expertise:

·         B.S. or M.S. in a Business, Engineering, Science or Mathematics/related major.

·         1 to 3 years' experience in project management.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Solid Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) and other software tool skills

·         Excellent analytical and organizational skills

·         Ability to work well independently and at remote job sites.

·         Ability to manage several projects and work on several tasks at any given time.

·         Ability to work well with a team.

·         A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.

·         Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
