Your Role:

Tetra Tech, an industry leader and nationally recognized engineering and consulting firm, is seeking candidates to fill a full-time Senior Multi-Media Environmental Compliance Site Lead position supporting NASA Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.  This position is onsite at Stennis Space Center and will require daily interaction and communication with NASA personnel. 

·         Serve as the Site Lead for a multi-media environmental compliance contract that covers hazardous waste, air quality, water quality, storage tank, cultural resources, natural resources, and National Environmental Compliance Act (NEPA) compliance.

·         Coordinate all activities required by the contract; schedule and lead client meetings; and produce contract status reports.

·         Support Tetra Tech's Project Manager with financial tracking.     

·         Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.

·         Additional duties as required.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering, science, or related field is required.
  • 15+ years of environmental compliance experience is required.
  • 10+ years of project management experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience working with NASA is preferred.

  • ·         Knowledge of Mississippi environmental regulations is required.
  • ·         Knowledge of NASA environmental guidelines, systems, and processes is preferred.
  • ·         Current HAZWOPER training is required for this position.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive to client sites.
  • Must be detail oriented to properly document all environmental compliance activities occurring across the contract.
