The opportunity

  • Full-time

Key responsibilities

  • Manage program portfolio ensuring contractual compliance, financial reporting, and achievement of outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Serve as primary contact for Tetra Tech, DFAT, and key partners, leading client issue resolution.
  • Oversee recruitment, contract negotiations, and team development to ensure project success.
  • Monitor financial performance, conduct audits, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Drive process improvements, set performance expectations, and mentor staff for growth and excellence.

Selection criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Program Management; professional and project management certifications desirable.
  • Proven experience managing programs end-to-end with strong financial management, budgeting, and risk assessment skills.
  • Expertise in contract management, cost control, compliance, and advanced financial analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership in international development, team management, and proficient with financial software and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational agility, and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, ethical standards, strategic thinking, and a proactive, results-driven approach.
