The opportunity

Key responsibilities
- Manage program portfolio ensuring contractual compliance, financial reporting, and achievement of outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Serve as primary contact for Tetra Tech, DFAT, and key partners, leading client issue resolution.
- Oversee recruitment, contract negotiations, and team development to ensure project success.
- Monitor financial performance, conduct audits, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Drive process improvements, set performance expectations, and mentor staff for growth and excellence.
Selection criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Program Management; professional and project management certifications desirable.
- Proven experience managing programs end-to-end with strong financial management, budgeting, and risk assessment skills.
- Expertise in contract management, cost control, compliance, and advanced financial analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership in international development, team management, and proficient with financial software and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational agility, and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, ethical standards, strategic thinking, and a proactive, results-driven approach.
