The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech, Inc is currently seeking a Site Technician in our local Baltimore, MD office. The Technician will manage operations of long-term recovery systems and remediation systems.

Essential Job Functions:
- Manage remediation system operations to ensure regulatory compliance. 
- Track recovery and communicate with project team. 
- Assist with additional projects including Phase I, Phase II, smoke testing and noise assessments as needed. 
- Other duties as assigned. 
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in environmental or science related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant environmental experience.
- Mechanicals skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate field logs and communicate findings to project team.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER.
- A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations. 
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in field environments. 
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel and perform field work/oversight (approx. < 25% of travel required). 
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. 
- Frequent periods of time walking, lifting, standing, climbing, and bending. Occasional periods of time sitting. 
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
- Urban environment accessing wells in vaults located in mixed use development. 
- Outdoor field work year-round in various weather conditions and environmental factors. 
Additional Information:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday work scheduled (40 hours). Occasionally extended hours may be required based on project and/or client needs (including working on the weekend occasionally). 
- Work will be performed primarily at client sites. 
Target salary range: $20.00 / hour to $25.00 / hour. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
