Your Role:
- Work collaboratively with the team and clients to achieve project objectives and deliverables
- Provide technical support for waste planning projects including: best practice research, waste composition studies, zero waste planning, development of waste management plans, financial modelling, and community outreach.
- Supervise field staff and maintain safety standards for waste composition studies and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Provide financial, administrative, and logistical project management support for waste planning projects to ensure projects and reports are delivered on time and to budget.
- Develop proposals in response to client requests for proposals.
- Actively identify new business opportunities and pursue means of enhancing personal and business reputations for Tetra Tech.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- Project management experience on medium and large projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work well as part of a team.
- Creative problem solver who works in a professional and ethical manner.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and listening skills.
- Valid Provincial Class 5 Driver's license (or equivalent).
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship.
