Position Summary:
The Civil Engineer/Project Manager will support and execute land development and site design engineering activities, performing analysis, design, documentation, and construction support on a variety of infrastructure and development projects throughout the region.

Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
⦁    Provide civil engineering design and analysis for land development and site design projects, including stormwater, grading, utilities, complete streets, and related infrastructure.
⦁    Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
⦁    Support preparation of engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
⦁    Ensure adherence to standard engineering practices and appropriate documentation across project deliverables.
⦁    Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
⦁    Participate in field activities and provide construction support services, including meetings, submittal reviews, shop drawing reviews, and RFIs.
⦁    Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
⦁    BS in Civil Engineering preferred.
⦁    Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience preferred.
⦁    EIT certification required; Colorado PE license preferred.
⦁    Background in grading and drainage design using Civil 3D, hydrology, hydraulics, and street design.
⦁    Strong communication, report writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
⦁    Experience with municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure design and permitting.
⦁    Ability to self-direct and review plan sets and reports.
⦁    Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
⦁    Experience with roadway, bikeway, erosion control, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer projects.
⦁    Experience preparing engineering reports and cost estimates for design packages.

Physical Requirements:
⦁    Ability to perform occasional fieldwork, including walking on uneven terrain and exposure to variable weather conditions.
⦁    Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or reviewing plans.
⦁    Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds as needed.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
⦁    Work performed in a combination of office and field settings, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
⦁    Moderate noise levels typical of office environments and fieldwork near active construction sites.
⦁    Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during field activities.
    
Additional Information:
⦁    Full-time position based in Frisco, CO.
⦁    May require occasional travel for project meetings or fieldwork.
⦁    Compensation Range: Project Engineer - $90,000-$145,000, depending on experience
⦁    Posting Expiration Date: January 2, 2026.
