We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Commercial Program Director to support our growing private sector environmental consulting business in Texas.   The Senior Commercial Project Director is a seller-doer role that will lead strategy, development, capture, and execution of environmental projects focused more on non-oil and gas industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental services, such as environmental compliance (permitting, reporting and auditing); due diligence; site investigation, risk assessment, remediation; and communication and negotiation with federal, state and local regulatory agencies, and in business development including developing and winning new projects and clients. This position would report to operations in San Antonio, with remote work as a possibility. Due to the clients we serve this position requires US citizenship.

Your Role:

 •    Establish and develop new commercial/industrial client accounts.
•    Fill a commercial opportunities pipeline with significant bid opportunities and winning record.
•    Lead the development and delivery of sales presentations to prospective commercial/industrial clients.  
•    Prepare proposals, manage projects, and perform technical work as necessary, balancing sales and billable work.
•    Assemble and lead teams to effectively and efficiently pursue and win work, and complete projects on time and within budget in accordance with client expectations and regulatory guidelines. 
•    Develop and implement growth strategies to increase client base for a broad range of integrated consulting services. 
•    Identify and nurture strategic partnerships for major commercial projects.

Qualifications:

•    BS degree in engineering, science or a related technical field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
•    15+ years of experience in consulting with at least five years of experience in program/project management, business development, and strategic planning focused on the commercial market sector.

•    Must have existing client relationships in the commercial market sector and a proven track record of winning work.
•    Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
•    Professional registration, i.e., Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) is preferred. PMP Certification a plus.
•    Experience in non-oil and gas industry a plus.
