Summary: Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a full time Senior Project Manager to support our growing Texas operations. The position will be responsible for technical work assignments related to well design, monitoring system design, water well planning, drilling, testing and modeling.

 

Your Role:

The functions to be performed include, but may not be limited to, the following - 

  • Supervise and assist engineers with well designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Successfully complete tasks independently.
  • Write proposals and reports, including technical and financial analysis, and provide conclusions and recommendations.
  • Conduct presentations to internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Utilize expertise (technical, logistical, regulatory, and finance) to develop project strategies and assess project risk.
  • Work with and build relationships with public, commercial, or international customers by managing and executing tasks and delivering high quality client products and services.
  • Use familiarity with existing and potential clients, academic researchers, and other consultants to identify new clients and business opportunities.
  • Support project and business development activities, proposal generation, market assessments, and strategic planning.
  • Travel periodically to client/project sites for meetings or other activities may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 5-10 years of work or research experience related to carbon sequestration, well drilling, upstream oil and gas, or related industry.
  • Applicant should have above average technical writing skills, and some knowledge in the following areas: carbon sequestration, well design, geology, and field operations. 
  • It's preferred that the applicant also has knowledge in the following areas: fluid flow in porous media, injection wells, federal/state/location regulatory requirements, numerical modeling, petrophysical analysis / interpretation, well logging, geochemistry, and proposal writing. 
  • Computer Skills must include experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Candidates must possess the ability to work with advanced mathematical and financial concepts and principles.
  • The employee may be required to conduct site visits at places and times where exposure to outdoor weather conditions is part of the working environment.
  • Some office and field work may be required outside of normal working hours including nights and weekends.
  • A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
