The person selected will become a part of the Sentinel project support team and work on gathering, organizing, and distributing all design and construction information available within the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center, Air Force Global Strike Command, Air Force Civil Engineer Center, and Sentinel Deployment Air Force Bases.This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role:

 •    Serving as a technical expert on the Sentinel Deployment program.
•    Meeting with and keeping open lines of communication with all key Air Force and government stakeholders to ensure the Tetra Tech team is always informed on program developments and has the most current information available.
•    Assessing Deployment program information for impacts to Environmental Permitting and Compliance program requirements and schedule and advising Media Managers and Functional Leads on courses of action.
•    Analyzing Deployment program logistics for missile deployment, design, and construction to ensure the most efficient Environmental Permitting and Compliance strategy is adopted.
•    Providing technical guidance and expertise to others assigned to assist in the efforts above and to the Sentinel Environmental Permitting and Compliance team.
•    Developing Air Force specific products through knowledge of Air Force practices and procedures, advising Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center, Operational NEPA Program Manager on best approaches to meet information communication and dissemination needs, and creating draft products as requested by Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and per the Sentinel PM's approval to meet contract requirements.
•    Working collaboratively with other experts in numerous locations across Tetra Tech's broad US geography.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree desired. HS diploma required. At least 10 years' time worked in a Minuteman III ICBM operational or command function.

•    Must have at least 10 years direct experience working within the Minuteman III ICBM community; 15 or more years highly desired; experience at base or MAJCOM command level highly desired.
•    Must have in-depth knowledge of Minuteman III ICBM operations, organizations, and Air Force nuclear enterprise.
•    Must have good oral and written communication skills.
•    Must have experience with DoD plans and processes.
•    Must have experience with Air Force internal task management and document writing procedures.
•    Prior experience conducting document reviews and writing technical documents.
•    Familirarity with Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center internal processes and procedures highly desired.
•    Familiarity with the Sentinel ICBM acquisition program highly desired.
•    Possessing a current DoD SECRET or higher security clearance highly desired.
