They will participate in other initiatives as needed to support the objectives of the Ethics & Compliance team.

They will be familiar with the highest risks in the region and provide recommendations to manage and mitigate those risks; support program improvements such as policy and procedure updates to ensure these stay relevant and useful, as well as training and other outreach efforts to ensure broad awareness of such policy/SOP requirements; identify deficiencies in compliance-related practices and develop modifications (such as controls) to prevent, detect and mitigate illegal, unethical or improper conduct; conduct and support internal investigations relating to TNC's Code of Conduct and other policies and procedures; and participate in monitoring compliance by the business units with key controls related to high-risk areas. They will build relationships in the region in service of promoting ethical behavior in our workplace and creating trust in the TNC Helpline and investigation process. While their work in the North America Region is their primary responsibility, they will also contribute to an evaluation and, as appropriate, update of the team's current training offerings, with a particular focus on assessing the annual ethics training from an effort-vs.-impact perspective. They may also act as the Ethics & Compliance liaison, undertaking many of the same activities described above, to one or more global teams (either a function or a strategy).

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership, conducting or facilitating training, activities, and workshops, both in-person and virtually, and communicating with a wide variety of business audiences.

  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships in a cross-functional, matrixed environment across geographically dispersed teams.

  • High level of organization and attention to detail, including experience organizing and managing projects across functions and geographies.
