This position provides administrative support to the routine activities of the Office of Student AccessAbility.



Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and two years office administration or project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.



Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and two years office administration or project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience and disability/medical field experience preferred.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position provides administrative support to the routine activities of the Office of Student AccessAbility.

This includes managing accurate processing of departmental invoices for services provided by approved vendors.

Manages and reconciles 4 cost centers associated with OSA.

Requires ability to comprehend and implement policies and procedures, initiative, and the ability to make decisions relative to office operations.

Manages electronic timesheets, calendars and scheduling for all OSA personnel.

The AAI may also support travel arrangements, purchasing, inventory, monitors security cameras in testing rooms,

Oversees front desk operations, creates, organizes and manages shared drives.

Maintains students files, office supplies, inventory and purchasing.

Processes all incoming confidential documentation from appropriate medical provider into electronic case management software.

Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and best practices when communicating and assisting students who are served by the Office of Student AccessAbility.



Additional Information

At times, this position requires the ability to work with students in distress/manage stressful situations. This position requires maintaining student confidentiality in accordance with the federal, state, and UTD Policies and Procedures.
