Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Required Job Specific Competencies: 

  • Performs assistant duties for the Administrative Director and Medical Director to Department of Practice Management. Assures that the daily operations of the Practice Management department run smoothly.
  • Computer literate in Windows based programs with proficiency in word processing, graphics applications, spreadsheets and database management.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft products is required.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to prioritize duties to assure timely turnaround.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to patients and staff of the health system.

Qualifications: 

  • Computer literate in Windows based programs with proficiency in word processing, graphics applications, spreadsheets and database management.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft products is required.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Education and Experience: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • A.A.S. Degree in secretarial science or office management, or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • One to three years of previous secretarial experience in a hospital or medical facility preferred.

 

Pay Range: $18.50 - $25.00

Starting Pay: Based on experience
