Tom Wood Lexus is currently searching for a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to join the team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of dent damage.
  • Identify the type of damage and determine if it is suitable for PDR.
  • Work with precision and attention to detail to ensure the restoration of the vehicle's original appearance.
  • Ensure that repaired areas meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, including before-and-after photos and repair documentation.
  • Update repair logs and databases as required.
  • Removes rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surfaces.  
  • Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair. Keeps work area clean.  
  • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment
  • Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.  
  • Cooperates with and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.  

QUALIFICATIONS:   

  • Completion of a formal PDR training program or apprenticeship
  • Proven experience as a PDR Technician in an automotive repair setting
  • Proficiency in using PDR tools and equipment.
  • Detail oriented  
  • Has effective communication skills  
  • Complies with safety requirements  
  • Is able to conduct themselves in a professional manner  
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record
