POSITION SUMMARY:
The Housekeeping Lead supports daily housekeeping operations and ensures the hotel meets or exceeds luxury cleanliness standards. This role involves assisting the Housekeeping Manager with supervising and coaching staff to maintain impeccable guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader dedicated to high service quality and team motivation.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist Housekeeping Manager in supervision of housekeeping staff to ensure timely, thorough, and efficient completion of daily assignments.
Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet luxury brand standards.
Participate actively in shift briefings and departmental meetings to share expectations, goals, and feedback.
Respond promptly to guest requests such as additional amenities or room refreshes.
Report and follow up on maintenance issues with the Engineering team.
Monitor and maintain cleaning supply and linen inventory; ensure housekeeping carts and closets are organized and stocked.
Support the Housekeeping Manager with training new employees and providing ongoing coaching and feedback to uphold service standards.
Oversee proper handling and documentation of guest items in accordance with hotel policies.
Foster a positive, respectful team culture through professional and supportive leadership.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Hospitality or related coursework preferred.
Minimum of 1 year hotel housekeeping experience.
At least 6 months in supervisory or team leadership role.
Experience in a luxury or boutique hotels preferred.
Understanding of Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards
Familiarity with housekeeping systems (e.g., ALICE, Opera, HotSOS) pre-erred.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to complete inspection reports, logs, and checklists accurately.
Detail-oriented with strong commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
Effective coaching and team motivation abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in guest service.
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling of carts/equipment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
Ability to navigate stairways and various hotel areas throughout the shit.
