POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide real estate analytics services to support a brokerage team. This includes activities related to the acquisition and/or disposition of spaces on behalf of clients, contributing to business development by generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing the closure of commercial real estate transactions. The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare client reports, pitches, and proposals. The Senior Financial Analyst is expected to possess knowledge in various real estate asset types, understand asset cash flows, evaluate lease versus purchase scenarios, and stay informed about local investment, property markets, and capital market dynamics.

It is also the responsibility of Senior Financial Analyst not only to exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with tenants, prospective tenants, owners, and vendors but also to focus on productivity and results.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Involvement in all facets of the deal from start to finish.

  • Preparation of long-term cash flow projections and pricing of various property types utilizing Argus and other valuation programs.

  • Will design and build sophisticated financial models for properties with existing and speculative cash flow in addition to ground-up development and redevelopment opportunities.

  • Preparation of offering memorandums.

  • Work with property managers, leasing agents, asset managers, to compile necessary information during sales process.

  • Research, analyze, and present sales comparable data.

  • Provide thorough analysis of neighborhood characteristics as they apply to potential lease, sale, or finance of a specific property.

  • Analyze financial terms of prospective deals including debt requirements, return expectations, hold period, etc.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze lease and financial information.

  • Compilation of market information and comparable sales and lease information.

  • Assist with preparation of responses to RFP/BOV's.

  • Ensure the timely production, accuracy and quality of work product and compliance with national standards.

  • Facilitate and initiate relationships within industry for future business development.

  • Research, analyze, and present various economic and demographic factors key to the underwriting of a neighborhood, market or MSA such as population, affordability, employment, and labor force info.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor's degree with emphasis in real estate, finance, business administration, accounting, economics, or related field.

  • A CPA or MBA is a plus.

  • A real estate license within state and maintained in good standing throughout employment.

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in real estate transactions servicing institutional clients.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and leases.

  • Knowledge of CoStar and other related CRE listing software a plus.

  • Argus, Financial modeling expertise. Experience developing cash flow models and in-depth financial analysis.

  • Demonstrate strong financial analytical and quantitative skill.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.

  • Strong marketing, presentation, and communications skills.

  • Stays abreast of current market conditions, practices, trends, and factors that impact real estate markets.

  • Ability to provide general direction/be self-managed/work independently.

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to internal and external clients.

  • Ability to keep information and internal communications confidential.

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Travel may be required.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000
